The Trough made of alloy steel is lined with Polybutadene rubber or hot cast polyurethane. The trough chamber is ‘U’ shaped and is suspended on springs. The heavy duty motor imparts the spiral movement of media and components. The intensity of the spiral movement can be varied using eccentric weights or variable frequency drives.

Inside the Trough, the spiral movement of abrasive media & components generates desired results like deburring, de-scaling, polishing, Ra value improvement, etc.

One of the first vibratory finishing machines was the round bowl type. Though the machine was efficient and cost effective, the channel width of the bowl restricted the size of components that could be processed. Trough Vibrators were thus introduced to process large and heavy components.

Trough Vibrators are suitable for various applications like descaling, deburring, Ra value improvement, edge radiusing, polishing & pre-plating finishing on components like crankshafts, axles, steering rods, hydraulic cylinder parts, impellers, motorcycle silencers and many other components which were difficult or impossible to handle for the round vibratory finishing machines.

Though Trough Vibrators are available in standard capacities, the length and width of the trough can be custom designed to suit specific needs & production rates.

Trough Vibrators make the components & media accessible during operation. If required it can also be provided with noise reducing covers to meet desired noise levels. They can also be equipped with Auto loading/unloading of parts with fixtures & conveyors, pneumatic discharge door, component separating trolleys media reloading and many more accessories for any degree of automation.
