In-Spec steel shot is a spherical product of hypereutectoid steel in full heat treated condition.
It has a uniform structure of finely tempered martensite which provides optimum resilience and resistance to fatigue.
The optimum abrasive for the majority of wheel blast applications. Its durability and resistance to impact fatigue give maximum cleaning efficiency at the most economical cost.
It is suitable for shot peening applications. Hard, cleans rapidly and efficiently. Resilient has an exceptional service life. Multiple impacts, shot multiply its efficiency by the ricochet effect. This increases the potential of the shot to reach surfaces which are inaccessible by direct blasting.
Round, formed during manufacture and remains throughout its service life, providing a well balanced operating mix and minimum wear in the machine.
